The North Simcoe Executive would like to move forward with hosting a
tournament next season for some of our Capitals teams. This type of
event is great for the community, and organization moving forward. We
would need someone to become a board member to plan and organize the
event. If you are interested in helping out, please don't hesitate to
contact any member of the board for more information. Go Caps Go.

Your U9 team, who just recently moved to the full ice portion of their
season went 2 wins and 1 tie during the round robin portion of the
tournament. This set up a semi-final game on Sunday afternoon vs the
home town favorites the Barrie Sharks. With great goal-tending leading
the way, the girls were able to stun the home town crowd, beating the
sharks by a score of 2 to 0. This victory moved them into the
championship game on Monday morning, where there offense took control,
outscoring Sudbury 5 to 4 to win the tournament. Congrats to all
Players, Coaches, and Parents for a successful weekend.
