 2019/2020 Season Registration

PLAYER TRANSFER:
New players who played for a different OWHA association last season, will need to have a Player Release Form from that organization. An Electronic Transfer to the NSGHA must also occur and be approved before proceeding with registration. Creating a new registration account will result in duplicate accounts that will need to be merged later on.
The electronic transfer process is initiated by the NSGHA once the player’s name appears on a Rep team selection list. It is the player’s responsibility to ensure that they have followed all required steps to comply with the previous association’s “Request for Release” process. Players should check with their current/previous association on what, if any requirements remain outstanding in order for the NSGHA to be able to successfully transfer the player electronically. Once the outgoing association has released the player electronically and their membership has been transferred to the NSGHA, the player will be notified by their new coach. After confirmation is received, the player can proceed with registration through the NSGHA online registration system.
Competitive Team Player Registration is only for those players who have been selected and offered a position on a 2019-2020 Competitive Team, through our spring tryout process.
PLAYER ACCEPTANCE Following selection to a Competitive Team, players are not considered accepted until the registration process has been fully completed – including deposit, minimum first payment, or payment in full.
ASSOCIATION FEES AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
Association fees are paid directly by each player to the NSGHA and cover the basic and common expenses for each team, including but not limited to:
Base ice allocated to each team (depending on category and level)
Base referee assignments (11 games)
Use of competitive team jerseys for the season
