TRYOUTS-Important Information!

TRYOUTS…….TRYOUTS……..TRYOUTS…….Come one, come all!!

2018-19 was a banner year for the Capitals, with multiple league, tournament and a provincial championship at both the local and rep levels.  We’re excited to continue a tradition of excellence, offering the highest level of development for the maximum number of players.  This year numbers at first team tryouts will be used to determine if we have a second rep team at various levels.  We ask ALL girls interested in Capitals rep hockey to attend the tryouts.  If numbers in a division warrant the creation of a second team, players released from the first team will be eligible for second teams.

Please note:   *All players should continue attending first team tryouts until being selected or released.  Only those released from the first team will be eligible for second teams. Please note that players who decline an offer for a rep team will not be allowed to tryout for any potential second team.  The NSGHA has mandated that all competitive teams for the 2019-20 season must have a minimum of 14 players. Roster size will be determined by the head coach with a minimum of 14 on each team. Certain teams will carry a full roster.

Tryout costs remain the same as past years...$10 per tryout, payable in cash. (There is no ATM on site)   Looking forward to seeing everyone out and hopefully some new faces.

Attention:  the date of the first tryout (April 27th) is also the date of the Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival.  Please plan your routes accordingly, as the main street (Hwy 92) in Elmvale will be shut down for the day.  Thank you.
