We would like to thank all of our North Simcoe Capitals families for their patience during the start up for this year’s hockey season. It has been a very different year for organizing our start up but we are happy to announce we are ready to begin this week! For the first two weeks our players will participate in development skates in specific groups. These groups have been made alphabetically and below you will find your daughter placed in their group along with day and time for the weeks of Sept. 14th and Sept. 21st. All skates will take place at the NSSRC.
Each group has been assigned a head coach who will oversee these development skates. Following these two weeks our practice groups will be reorganized based on skill level and balanced teams will be made to start our modified games.
Before arriving at the arena, every player must fill out the Acknowledgement, Release, Indemnity, & Assumption of Risk Regarding COVID-19 waiver and NSSRC COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire found on the NSSRC website. Upon arrival at the arena, you must sign in with the front staff. Once entering the lobby dressed in full hockey gear, you will be directed to area A or B where you will sign up with your coach/trainer to acknowledge you have done the OWHA health screening assessment which will be placed on the NSGHA website as soon as it is available and to track your attendance at practice.
