Capitals Get National Exposure
Congratulations
to Emma Sandy and Miya Rochon from our U15 A and B teams who
represented an Ontario team LNHL in the platinum division at the 2022
WickFest World Hockey Festival in Calgary Alberta on Nov 24th-27th
2022. What an honour and experience it has been for the girls, taking
their hockey to the national level. The
team organized by Marian Jacko, president of the Little NHL, is an
all-female Indigenous team from across Ontario and was the only all First Nation team at this event. We are so proud to have
Emma and Miya represent the Capitals and their respective communities of
Beausoleil First Nation and Parry Island. Great job girls, the entire
association was cheering for you.
